Hi I’m June Monstera (she/they)!
When I’m not drawing and painting, I love exploring new places and collecting stories while travelling the world. I love baking and cooking, mostly sourdough, cookies and pies, but I would like to venture into decorated layered cakes with piped icing.
In Winter I like to cuddle up with a good book or movie and my orange cat Flan. I also enjoy playing board games with friends.
In Summer I always try to garden, in order to have as many plant friends in the great outdoors as I have indoors. But it’s hard to stay consistent, as I also love to go dancing on festivals or go on hikes and bike rides and city trips. The taste of homegrown vegetables and fruits is absolutely worth it though!
This year I would like to tend to community more, as I feel that it is very important, especially in the times we live in. This means doing things for the greater good and the collective rather than just for myself.
I believe that no one is standing on its own, we all stand on the shoulders of society and the works of others. What we do impacts others, so let’s try to make it something good.
